Please note:  Once an event has been scheduled, it will be posted on this page. 

If you do NOT see your event listed, please contact ReFoamIt ASAP.  No event will be scheduled with just a phone call!  Once you know what date you are interested in, please contact us as soon as possible BEFORE you begin to advertise!!!!

The events listed below are hosted by organizations or municipalities for residents and small businesses. If you have a large amount of foam please call ReFoamIt 508-872-2323 or 508-864-8723 to discuss your recycling options.  We now have our own facility and anyone is welcome to bring their foam to 25 Mohawk Dr., (Entrance is located just before loading dock door B), Leominster, MA.  There is no charge to drop off your foam, but we ask that you make an appointment by calling 508-864-8723!  When our machinery is running, we may not be able to hear the phone so please call back.  You can also enter our building through All American Recycling.

Today, Wed. Apr 16, ReFoamIt will be at Clark University on Main St.  This is our first college event which will be open to the Students, Staff and Businesses that work with Clark.  If you are in the area and haven't seen ReFoamIt, please visit us to see what happens to the foam that we recycle.

Students, staff and businesses that work with Clark may bring their Styrofoam to the Green at Clark University from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Apr 26, Grace Congregational Church, Framingham MA No Residency Restriction
This event is open to All residents and All Non-residents of Framingham from 10-3.  Please let us know if you are planning to bring more than one car or small pickup truck of Foam.   All labels, paper, cardboard, and tape must be removed from each piece of Foam.  All food related containers and cups MUST be rinsed or washed before bringing.  Please consider helping us to defray expenses with a voluntary contribution.  Clean packing peanuts will be accepted and given to a local UPS Packing Store for reuse.

Apr 26,  Framingham Earth Day Celebration No Residency Restriction

ReFoamIt is a partner of the Framingham EarthDay Festival.  There will be over 80 vendors, many recycling opportunities to recycle items such as eyeglasses, textiles, packing peanuts.  Check out http://www.framinghamearthday.org/ for more details.

As part of Upton's Hazardous Waste Day, Upton residents may recycling their EPS Foam from 8:00 AM to 12:00 at the DPW Yard,100 Pleasant Street, beside the Nipmuc Middle/High School

May 3, Northboro Junior Woman's Club, Northborough, MA No Residency Restriction
Clean expanded polystyrene (EPS foam) will be accepted from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the DPW Yard, 190 Main Street/Route 20, Northborough.  All tape and labels must be removed; food-related items must be rinsed and clean.  NJWC provides this service free-of-charge as a service to the community.

May 3, Beverly Solid Waste Management Committee No Residency Restriction
The Beverly Solid Waste Management Committee is sponsoring its annual Electronics and Styrofoam Collection.  This event is open to non-residents of Beverly and will run from 8:00 AM to noon at the rear of the Beverly High School, 100 Sohier Road, Beverly, MA 01915      

May 3, Belmont DPW, Belmont, MA Open to Belmont Residents Only
Styrofoam recycling will be part of the DPW Recycling Day from 10:00-2:00.  Bring your clean foam to the Belmont DPW Yard. 

May 3, Andover Recycling Committee, Andover, MA No Residency Restriction
This event, sponsored by the Andover Recycling Committee is open to both residents and non-residents of Andover.  You can bring just about anything to this event and you will be able to recycle it including Styrofoam.  Check out what you can recycle at http://andoverma.gov/dpw/zerowasteday.pdf

This is our only scheduled evening event.  The event runs from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  We will take packing peanuts at this event.

This event will be held at the Ipswich Middle School, 130 High St. from 9:00 am to 12:00.  Electronics will also be collected

This event will be held in the Tewksbury Public Library Parking Lot 300 Chandler St. between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

May 31, Town of Dedham, Dedham, MA

May 31, Town of Bedford, Bedford, MA Open to Residents of Bedford Only
The Town of Bedford will be hosting a Drop-Off Day at the Department of Public Works, 314 Great Road on May 31 from 9 am to 12 noon. ReFoamIt will be accepting foam, as well as Excel Recycles for scrap metal and Doc Shredding for confidential papers.

May 31, Medfield Recycling Committee, Town of Medfield, MA Open to Residents of Medfield Only
PLEASE save your STYROFOAM! Why trash it, and have it end up incinerated into the air we breathe, when it can be made into new products? Medfield Green is bringing ReFoamIt to the Medfield Transfer Station on Saturday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and ReFoamIt will give your expanded polystyrene (EPS) a new use. Items to save include foam cups (without paper labels attached), foam egg cartons, foam packing blocks, white insulation board, foam coolers, food trays that have the PS (6) recycling triangular symbol, and take-out containers with the PS (6) recycling triangular symbol. Foam always snaps, does not bend freely and all items should be clean and free of food debris. Peanuts will not be accepted (note: UPS stores in Franklin, Milford and Framingham reuse clean peanuts, bubble wrap, pouches, etc.). Check http://www.refoamit.com for pictures of acceptable and unacceptable items. A current Medfield Transfer Station sticker is required.
